It has been
another very successful year at Kingsley College as the percentage
of students achieving five or more A*-C grades including English
and maths significantly increased from 49% to 63%.
Star students
Chloe Bates, Alex Evans, Josh Linfoot, Laura Payne, Ellie Reynolds,
Jarvis Strawbridge, Kira Swannell and Albi Vernon all achieved 10
or more A* and A grades.
Headteacher,
Stephen Brownlow, was delighted for both students and their
teachers. "These are, by some distance, the best GCSE results the
school has ever recorded. During the last two years there has been
a 70% increase in the percentage of students achieving five or more
A*-C grades including English and maths and an even more dramatic
improvement in the percentage of A*/A grades. This increase in the
results will place Kingsley College as one of the most improved
schools in the country. This achievement is all the greater when
across the country there has been a levelling off in performance. I
am extremely proud of the students and staff who have worked so
hard to achieve these excellent results. Examination success
equates to life chances for our students who are able to pursue
their chosen routes into the sixth form or employment. My thanks go
to the students, their families and the staff; achievements like
this are always a team effort."

It has been
another successful year at Kingsley College. The overall A Level
pass rate remained high at 95% and the percentage of top grades
continues to improve. We are pleased that 90% of our students
achieved at least three level 3 qualifications and a number
achieved the prestigious A* grade in a variety of subject areas. We
are delighted that the majority secured their place at university
in a very competitive environment. We also pleased that there has
been a significant improvement in the pass rate at AS level.
Head teacher
Stephen Brownlow said, "All our students have worked tremendously
hard and it is wonderful to see so many of them able to pursue
their chosen course or employment route. We are pleased that the
overall pass rate has remained high and that the average points
score and percentage of top grades are continuing to improve. My
thanks go to the students, their parents/carers and the staff as
achievement like this is always a team effort."
