Sixth Form
At
Kingsley College we welcome students who are keen to realise their
ambitions and fulfil their full potential. We appreciate that good
grades are at the heart of success and recognise that success
should reflect appropriate challenge and high achievement in the
progress made by individual students. Our numbers have grown since
we opened in 2001 and our specialist facilities have expanded to
meet them. We also offer the opportunity for students to become
involved in a wide range of extra curricular activities. A
comprehensive induction programme is provided so that all students
quickly settle into our college.
We
regularly monitor academic progress and students, parents and
teachers work closely together to ensure that all students
achieve their full potential. We promote high standards in every
aspect of life at Kingsley College and regard our Post 16 students
as role models for younger members of the college. We are keen for
them to be involved in the wider aspects of college life. Sixth
form students contribute significantly to many activities,
including music, sport and drama. We are proud of the leadership
roles and wider responsibilities that senior students, led by our
Head Boy and Head Girl, develop in a more independent and adult
environment.
We
provide a high level of guidance and support for students as they
prepare for life after Kingsley, whether this is embarking on a
career or going on to higher education. Each year a large
proportion of our Year Thirteen students progress to the university
of their choice.
We
are certain that Kingsley College provides an exciting environment
in which students can flourish. If you have any queries about Post
16 opportunities at the college, then please do not hesitate to
contact us.
